TSR – Jimi H 20 Pack

When Paul Reed Smith and amp designer Doug Sewell decided to recreate the classic “Hendrix” tone, they went to the source and got their hands on some of Jimi’s vintage and heavily customised amp heads. This research resulted in the PRS HDRX amps, which bring all the Hendrix goodness to life in a modern amp. The Studio Rats Jimi H 20 pack is based on the HRDX 20, which features the same tone as the 100-watt model, just in a far more manageable package (says PSR himself).

In this pack, we give you 8 amp and cab-only tones, from sweet cleans through Grit and Drive to sawing Over Drives. Then we added two of our favourite pedals the Boss Blues Driver and our vintage Marshall The Guv’nor.

This pack is vintage Jimi H style goodness, and then some.

PLEASE NOTE

1. This pack is ONLY for the KEMPER range of Profiling Amplifiers and Pedals. THIS IS NOT A TONEX, Headrush or Quad Cortex Pack.
2. The profiles are saved as .krig files, which need to be loaded into your hardware from a connected Mac or PC using the latest version of the Rig Manager software.
   

Kemper profiles are in the .krig file format. If you’re having trouble loading a file, you might need to update your Kemper’s firmware. Rig Manager automatically converts any older profiles with the .kipr extension to .krig when you load them into the Kemper.
